Take What You Need,

Teach What You Learn

Access to the creative industry is already uneven. The 154 Initiative is a self-funded programme created to support creatives who lack access to guidance, resources, or support — and can’t always afford it elsewhere.

FAQ’s

  • The 154 Initiative offers practical guidance for creatives navigating the industry. Support may include feedback on ideas, direction on next steps, insight into creative process, or help understanding how things work behind the scenes.

Support is focused on helping people move forward independently — not providing finished answers.

  • This is for creatives who are navigating the industry in education or not just people without existing access, networks, or financial backing — and who are looking for practical guidance on existing or upcoming projects.

  • To keep the space intentional and manageable, access is request-based. Questions are submitted through a sign-up so time can be given fairly and thoughtfully.

  • Yes. The 154 Initiative is self-funded and offered without charge. The expectation is not payment, but respect for time and a willingness to share what you learn with others.

  • It isn’t a replacement for formal education, paid consultancy, or long-term mentorship. Support is offered where it’s useful and appropriate, with the intention of encouraging self-reliance and shared learning.

  • Sign-up helps maintain fairness, privacy, and quality of support. It allows time to be given where it’s most needed, without turning the initiative into an open inbox.

  • Giving back isn’t expected, but it is appreciated. This can take many forms — sharing what you learn with others, spreading awareness of the 154 Initiative so it reaches the right people, or supporting Cliv through the objects available in the store, which help fund and sustain the initiative.

Contribution is always optional. Participation comes first.
